What a great way to celebrate the Savill Memorial Hall Centenary. High tea, live music, centenary plants and commemorative mugs, plus art exhibits created by the children of our village, a vision of 2126. Special thanks go to Roma and Co for the magnificent high teas, to Steve, Natalie, Maria and the band for providing songs and music from the 20’s, Fiona & Howard for the splendid 100 plant display, Lulu for organising the children’s 2126 art, Julie for getting kids to play 20’s games in the church, and the team for putting up the new curtains (just in time, and the new stage curtains are coming soon), and everyone else in the village who supported and helped make the day so enjoyable. Well done everyone for a once in our lifetime event.
