The Garden House

Dorset cottage in popular village of Cattistock. Light, spacious and serene – tastefully decorated with traditional style comfortable furnishings. South facing dog friendly garden, perfect to enjoy a glass of wine with views of the church and countryside. Fabulous dog friendly pub, village shop/Post Office within 2 mins walk. Ideal for 1 or 2 couples – sleeps up to 6 (king, double and two singles) with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Dog-friendly with great walks nearby. EV charger available on site and only a short drive away from Dorchester and world-famous Jurassic Coast.

Ivy Cottage

Ivy Cottage is a Grade 2 listed cottage in the heart of the village, a short stroll from the Fox and Hounds pub and the Village Shop.
The cottage sleeps 4,  has a modern kitchen and bathroom, as well as a downstairs cloakroom. 

It is dog friendly and has a large secure garden.
It offers the perfect base to explore the wonderful surrounding countryside and coast of West Dorset.

The Old Rectory

Just just a hop, skip and a jump from the glorious village of Cattistock, The Old Rectory Lodge offers an idyllic countryside escape.

Nestled in a peaceful valley within the grounds of the Old Rectory, the cottage is surrounded by rolling hills, lush meadows, and the gentle sweep of the River Frome — a quintessentially English retreat.

The Lodge is spacious, beautifully comfortable, and sleeps up to five guests. It’s fully family‑friendly, pet‑friendly, and accessible for guests with disabilities. The sitting room and master bedroom both open onto a private terrace with far‑reaching views across the garden — perfect for morning coffee or a glass of wine at dusk.

In winter, the gas‑fired wood stove makes the cottage wonderfully cosy; in summer, it stays cool, bright, and serene. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, featuring an Everhot, two fridges, two freezers, plus a separate hob and oven. With its generous table, it’s a great space for cooking, gathering, and entertaining.

Step outside and you’ll find glorious walks in every direction, with the much‑loved Fox and Hounds just a gentle ten‑minute stroll away.

Costs  to stay in the cottage ranges from £140.00 per night in winter, to £260 in peak season, for a minimum of 3 nights.

Willow Annexe

Lovely one bedroom self catering annexe with all the comforts that you’ll need for self catering.  Relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Cattistock and all the area has to offer.

Willow annexe is attached to our home and is tucked away in the garden, it has a fully functional open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge.  The kitchen has a full size fan assisted oven, fridge and dishwasher.  The annexe has one bedroom with a double bed, we can also offer a travel cot for a baby or a young child. We provide all bedlinen and towels. We are happy to accept one well behaved house trained dog,  they must however be kept on a lead in the garden as we have roaming chickens.  Willow Annexe is self catering, we provide 1pt of semi skimmed cows milk, some fresh Bantam eggs if the hens are laying!   Tea and coffee.  Free unlimited fibre broadband.  Our check in time is from 4pm and check out is 11am.  We operate a minimum of two night booking, the nightly cost is £80 with 15% reduction for a seven night booking.  The annexe is on the ground floor, we do however have steps into the garden and therefore this accommodation is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.
