The informative and beautifully written prose of the Cattistock Community website’s Nature Table entries were, in the past, penned by the inimitable Merrily Harpur. An impossible act to follow. We are, however, hoping to resurrect the initiative and provide some periodic commentary on aspects of wildlife and gardening in and around Cattistock. Our first entry – the bee-riding Rugged Oil Beetle.
