Tennis Club Tournament update
FUND RAISING UPDATE.
A Tennis Club coffee morning was recently held in the Savill Hall, kindly hosted by the Community Hub. During the morning the Tennis Club ran a raffle and sold plenty of cakes, plants and jams, which together with a donation by the Hub, raised £583.08for the Tennis Club, towards the quality of mower required.
Lawn tennis court mowers are specialised items of equipment that include a heavy roller and fine cutting blades, which enables the groundsman to keep the courts to a standard that is essential. The success of the Coffee Morning means we can plan the purchase of a suitable mower, without looking for additional funds from our members.

Welcome to our friendly community tennis club! We invite players of all ages and abilities to enjoy the game in a beautiful, relaxed setting. Our stunning grass courts provide the perfect place to stay active, have fun, and meet new friends.
As a member, you’ll have unlimited access to our courts throughout the grass court season (subject to booking and weather conditions).
Membership Options:
- Adults: £55 per year
- Children (under 16): £15 per year
- Family (2 adults & 2 children under 16): £110 per year
We are one of only two public grass-court clubs in Dorset affiliated with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA)—a rare gem for tennis enthusiasts! As a self-financing club, we truly appreciate your support.
