FAASP Inside the St Peter and St Paul Church

We now have a group of very willing helpers for shopping, fetching prescriptions, dog walking, running errands or just being a friendly voice  – please make contact by either:

1) Leaving a ‘contact me’ message on the Cattistock Website by clicking here.

2) Leaving a comment on the Cattistock and surrounding villages Facebook Page

3) Telephoning Barbara on 01300 320875.

Nearly 300 flyers have been issued to every household around Cattistock and surrounding villages.  There were also details of a FOOD BANK set up in Cattistock Church, which has already brought a magnificent response of food and financial donations, so much so that we will be opening up on Monday.  There will be a box of provisions left in the church every day (and obviously also for ongoing donations).  People can opt to simply choose goods from what is out each day or ring one of the contacts (on the flyer and by the box) to organise a better response to meet the needs of the individual.

The group has around 30 members who want to help anyone self-isolating, or with essential needs.  Any requests for help will be shared with the group and the most appropriate person will follow up directly.

This continues to be a very difficult time for all of us, however it is comforting to know that there is a very active voluntary group ready to help anyone.
