Originally a medieval longhouse, the Fox and Hounds is a rustic 17th Century Inn, situated in the heart of Cattistock. The ancient beams, large inglenook fireplace and little window seats add to the charm and character.
We have 3 lovely letting rooms making us an ideal choice for a last minute weekend break, or a great base for a more extended stay allowing you to explore Dorset.
We are an excellent choice for families due to being situated directly opposite an amazing play park, allowing parents to relax on the front terrace whilst children play.
We are a dog friendly pub. There is free wifi, and a car park to the rear.

The Old Rectory
The Old Rectory in Chilfrome is just a short stroll from Cattistock and the beautiful water meadows that edge the river Frome. It is a quintessentially English Country home – you will be greeted by Nessie with a home baked something for tea, under the Yew tree in the garden or by a roaring fire . You stay in your own private suite, which consists of a very comfy double bed, a glorious huge bathroom with a roll top bath looking out on the fabulous view up the valley and a cosy sitting room. Breakfast consists of homemade granola, stewed fruit from the garden and a cooked breakfast of your choice. To stay costs £120.00 per night, minimum 2 night stay.

Lovely one bedroom refurbished self catering annexe with all the comforts that you’ll need. Relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Cattistock and all the area has to offer.
Willow annexe is attached to our home and is tucked away in the garden, and has a fully functional open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge. The kitchen has a full size fan assisted oven, fridge and dishwasher. The annexe has one bedroom with a double bed, we can also offer a travel cot for a baby or a young child. We provide all bedlinen and towels. We are happy to accept one well behaved dog but they must be kept on a lead in the garden as we have roaming chickens. Willow Annexe is self catering, we do however provide an initial welcome breakfast basket with muesli, porridge oats, local bakery bread (wholemeal small loaf) 1pt of semi skimmed cows milk, some fresh Bantam eggs if the hens are laying! tea and coffee. Please bring any other of your own breakfast goods not listed. Free unlimited fibre broadband. Our check in time is from 4pm and check out is 11am. We operate a minimum of two night booking between Friday and Sunday. Nightly cost is £60. The annexe is on the ground floor, we do however have steps into the garden and therefore this accommodation is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.
